Jesus Christ

Our Founder
I am often asked what first inspired the mission of Hamisha Loaves Charity. The answer isn't a single moment, but a gradual empathy in my heart that grew from seeing the profound loneliness and need that so many people with disabilities face every day. It’s a feeling of being overlooked, a gap in friendship and understanding that felt impossible to bridge. In moments of feeling overwhelmed by the scale of this need, my mind always returns to a simple, powerful story of compassion.
It is the story of the miracle of Jesus feeding the hungry thousands, found in the Gospel of Matthew 14:19-20:
I have read those words a many times, and what moves me most is that Jesus didn't see an insurmountable problem; He saw people who were hungry, and He knew that even a small offering, when blessed, could become more than enough.
When I see our volunteers gather every time to support for our friends with disabilities, I see that same miracle happening all over again.
