Our Mission
Hamisha Loaves Charity is on a quest to bridge the friendship gap between people with and without disabilities. We connect with our disabled friends, understanding and caring about their needs and at the same time spreading the message of God’s love through motivational sermons and uplifting gospel songs.
Our Vision
To be a global beacon of Christ’s love and compassion, where every soul is nourished by both physical sustenance and the transformative power of God’s Word, reminding the world that “man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.
Our Story
Hamisha Loaves Charity was founded to inspire hope and compassion. Our initial focus is on empowering and uplifting individuals with disabilities throughout Liberia. We believe in a world where every person is treated with dignity, provided with opportunity, and has the resources to live a full and meaningful life.
The name 'Hamisha Loaves' is a heartfelt blend of Hebrew and English, drawing its deepest inspiration from the timeless biblical story of Jesus feeding a multitude with just five loaves and two fishes. 'Hamisha' (חמישה) is Hebrew for 'five,' rooting our identity in this powerful act of miraculous provision.
This story is the cornerstone of our philosophy: that even with seemingly limited resources, boundless compassion and collective action can create abundance for those in need. It reminds us that no act of giving is too small and that from humble beginnings, extraordinary change can unfold.
"And He commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, He blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to His disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. And they did all eat, and were filled."
~ Matthew 14:19-20
The journey of Hamisha Loaves began in 2023 with a simple yet profound vision: to create a sustainable support system for people with disabilities in Liberia, a community often overlooked and underserved. After two years of dedicated groundwork, building relationships, and structuring our programs for maximum impact, Hamisha Loaves Charity was officially registered as a charitable organization in Liberia in April of 2025. From our inception, we have been committed to transparency, accountability, and a hands-on approach that ensures every donation makes a tangible difference in someone's life. We envision a Liberia where disability is not a barrier to success.
