Tell the agent you want to send cash to someone’s mobile number

Give the agent the cash amount you want to send and the recipient’s phone number

The agent uses their phone to send the money from their account to the recipient.

The person you sent the money to receives it instantly on their mobile money account.

Call your desired recipient again to confirm receipt of the money

For MTN: Dial *156# or Dial #144# for Orange.

Choose the option that says "Send Money" from the menu.

Type in the mobile number of the person you're sending money to.

Type the amount of money you want to send.

Review the details (name, number, amount), and enter your PIN to confirm.

You and the recipient will get a text message confirming the transaction.

Download the Sendwave App: available for free on both Android and iOS devices.

Sign up using your phone number and email address.

Add a Payment Method: link your debit card to fund your transfers.

Choose Liberia from the list of available countries.

Provide the recipient's full name and mobile money number.

Input the amount you wish to send. The app will display the exchange rate and any applicable fees.

Double-check all details before confirming the transaction.

If possible, inform the recipient that the funds have been sent. They should receive a notification.
